LPN stands for Licensed Practical Nurse. The Practical Nursing program prepares students with the knowledge, clinical skills, professional values, and competencies needed to provide nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses, physicians, and other authorized healthcare professionals.

The LPN program is generally completed within approximately 13 to 14 months, depending on the academic schedule and the student’s successful completion of all program requirements.

The LPN program is fully conducted in person.

The Practical Nursing program consists of a total of 1,140 hours, including theory, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction.

The curriculum covers anatomy and physiology, fundamentals of nursing, pharmacology, mental health nursing, medical-surgical nursing, maternal and infant nursing, pediatric nursing, and professional development.

No. CNA certification may be helpful, but it is not required for admission.

Graduates may apply to take the NCLEX-PN examination and complete the applicable state licensure requirements. Completing the program does not guarantee licensure or employment.

Yes. Practical nursing education can provide a strong foundation for students who may later pursue an LPN-to-RN bridge program. Admission and transfer-credit requirements vary by institution.

U.S. Nursing College currently offers the Basic Nursing Assistant Training Program, commonly known as CNA, and the License Practical Nursing program, commonly known as LPN. Additional nursing and healthcare programs will be announced as they become available.

The standard total cost of the CNA program is $2,165.00 this includes tuition, miscellaneous tools, books and skills materials, and required skills supplies. The final cost may be lower for students who already own certain required items that meet the school’s standards. Admissions will review eligible items and provide a complete cost breakdown before enrollment.

The current tuition for the LPN program is $30,525.00 this includes tuition, books, required clinical materials, and miscellaneous fees. Additional program-related expenses may apply. Students will receive a complete written cost breakdown before signing the Enrollment Agreement.

Flexible installment payment arrangements may be available to qualified students. Contact Admissions for current payment options and terms.

Students are responsible for the full cost of their program. An approved payment arrangement may allow the balance to be paid in scheduled installments.

Additional expenses may include application or assessment fees, books, supplies, uniforms, health requirements, CPR certification, background clearances, and other program-related costs. A complete cost breakdown will be provided before enrollment.

Refund eligibility is based on the terms stated in the Enrollment Agreement and the school’s published cancellation and refund policy.
